Glamour, sportiness, elegance and competition: from the beginning of 2008, the world’s best Latin and Ballroom dancers will compete with one another in a spectacular worldwide tour: in the Dancing Superstars World Series, they are going to battle it out for the honour and high prize moneys in ten metropolises throughout the world.
Superstars of the scene, such as nine-time professional World Champion in the Latin American discipline, Bryan Watson and Carmen Vincelj (Germany) as well as Marcus and Karen Hilton (England), nine-time Standard- Dance World Champions, will be involved in a newly created top-level competition. Here, it’s not about world-ranking points or tittles, here, it’s about a contest of the crème de la crème. The two best Latin and Ballroom couples of every action involved will be invited (a wild card will be allotted in case that the hosting national isn’t represented on the world rankings) to demonstrate their skill in a total of ten different dances – in a competition featuring a tight schedule.
