YONEX-SUNRISE HONG KONG OPEN BADMINTON SUPER SERIES 2007

Previously known simply as the Hong Kong Open, the Yonex-Sunrise Hong Kong Open Badminton Super Series 2007 celebrates its inauguration this year as a prestigious Super Series Badminton event. Hosted in Hong Kong late in the badminton season, the prize purse and a late dash for finishing well on the world rankings will undoubtedly ensure that the cream of players will converge in Hong Kong for this nail-biter.

** Under the auspices of the Badminton World Federation, the Badminton Super Series is an elite class of tournaments which offer a minimum of US$ 200,000 in prize money at each event. The Super Series serves as a qualifier for the season-ending Super Series Finals which offers a US$500,000 prize purse.
