 The DTM (Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters) is the premiere
German motorsports racing series will be going into its
seventh year and has been repeatedly picked as the best
Touring Car Series in the world by motoring magazines across
Europe and internationally.The substantial pull that DTM has is attributed to its hands-on motor racing, an attractive line-up of cars, an extremely competitive international grid which ultimately guarantees thrilling races. It is a high-profile event wherever it is held and audiences on-ground and on-air continue to grow each year because of its value for entertainment and excitement. Gary Paffett, pipped overall championship leader Mattias Ekström at the final race in Istanbul to finish the 2005 season with the DTM champion’s crown. Also on the grid next season are the expected return of famous seasoned pros such as two-time F1 Champion Mika Häkkinen and the other familiar F1 aces; Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Jean Alesi and Allan McNish with their participating DTM teams from Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Opel.
